I recently did a workshop with Sonja Ahuja for the Festival of Words, which was on the 31st of March 2007. It was a great experience and I had a really good time. Thanks to everyone that was there and supported myself and the other authors in attendance by being at our workshops and participating. A special thanks to Sonja for inviting me to participate.

Once a month, Shanna Melton and Karry Ballard host Lyrical Voices Poetry at the Bridgeport Innovation Center, located on Connecticut Avenue (Gallery 1212). I'm often there but I still encourage you to check out other local artists, trying to get their voices out there.
I was at Borders Bookstore in Fairfield as a panel author in January of 2006. Great experience!!! Dianne Fonce is absolutely wonderful and you should check one out. They are normally on the third Wednesday or Thursday of the month. I always try to go to support Diane and the other authors.
I had my first signing at Rainy Faye Bookstore (great place to visit by the way), across the street from the Bridgeport Public Library. That was in July of 2005. It was well attended and I had a good time. Made quite a few sales that day. For a few pics...
